Oh, give me land, lots of land under starry skies above,
Don't fence me in.
Let me ride through the wide open country that I love,
Don't fence me in.
Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze
And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees
Send me off forever but I ask you please,
Don't fence me in
Just turn me loose, let me straddle my old saddle
Underneath the western skies
On my Cayuse, let me wander over yonder
'Till I see the mountains rise.
Ba boo ba ba boo.(Andrew's sisters)
I want to ride to the ridge where the west commences
And gaze at the moon 'till I lose my senses
And I can't look at hobbles and I can't stand fences
Don't fence me in.
No.
Poppa, don't you fence me in

Hi everyone. I just love this old song by Bing Crosby and we should sing it every night around the campfire as we travel this country of ours. All you guys in caravans or tents, who appreciate being free and  away from the pressures of daily life....LET'S HEAR IT LOUD AND CLEAR and make it our nomads THEME SONG.
I would love to hear from you. Travel well and safe, Shanti

CHOKOS

Dinner time.
Now the season for chokos is on our doorstep, make good use of them, especially when they are still quite young. Some friends of mine gave me some of their organic produce, which included chokos and aubergines. What to do with them? Here goes:
My recipe:
Cut into 4, one choko, yes seed and all (the best part of the choko).
Boil them till soft-ish. (It only takes minutes) In a frypan, fry in plenty of olive oil and some soy sauce (watch the salty taste of the fetta):
            One very large mushroom
            A small Aubergine (egg plant).
Some fetta cheese. Cut all these into about 12 mm cubes
Fry them, stirred together till cooked.
Add these to the chokos, mix together, serve and eat.
It is a light dinner, salty and yammo!
NOTE:
Health benefits of chokos:
Anti-oxidants, heart health, blood sugar control, healthy pregnancy, anti- cancer, slows aging, support liver function.
PS. Not many people eat chokos, but you should start now. Eat them when they are still quite young with the skins ON. The older ones become hard and stringy. They make good planting material for next season.
Let the kids grow a choko. They see them climb over fences and onto the roof of the backyard shed.

Just "BE".

JUST “BE”.
                            JUST BE!

Be happy, loving and caring. Share your life with your neighbours and be kind to strangers. Smile as you go forth on your path. People will love you instantly, because of your smile and kindness. A word of encouragement to a person in need, goes a long way. Remember too, that you were born in a special society, may it be white, black or whatever, but we are all children of the same Universe or God, and we MUST accept the fact, that we all have a heart and red blood in our veins. Love one another disregarding of whatever faith, colour or believe system the other person may have. We have a right to think whatever we believe in. You have heard this before, but please practice your belief in good faith and with true conviction of love and peace towards all mankind, our planet and all its creatures and flora. Respect our oceans, our land and the air, as all these elements are working very closely together to make this world so precious. NOT ONE OF THEM IS USELESS. Save and protect all creation!
The Earth will look after us, if we look after it!

Sent to you with love and peace forever, Shanti.

GENTLENESS
Following on from my article on immunity, l found it logical to write more about the effects of being in a state of gentleness, calm, at peace, happy, easy going, being alkaline, laughter, loving and helpful.
Alkaline people, who are in the minority, are usually much calmer than the rest and relaxed and don’t very often ‘fly off the handle’, so to speak. These people are able to discuss things more peacefully and reasonably, without arguing and ‘almost fighting’, to get their way. The people who stick their finger out of the car window, as they drive past you, because you happen to be there, or they claim that you should not have done a turn or something, are usually very acidic. They don’t easily forget and do not forgive.
Let’s talk about the pleasantness of people who are gentle and peacefully minded.
These people will smile all the time and mean it; these people will help just anyone and want to do it calmly; these people will often be a bit quiet and don’t mix as easily, because of the traumas the others may cause; they love the peace; they are very genuine and are always busy doing something for someone else.
An acidic person can become an alkaline person, by simply applying the rules found in my book: “VICTORY OVER DIS…EASES”. Oh, if we could all be calm and reasonable, there would not be any wars or conflicts around the world. So many people would be happy and at peace. We would see other people’s points of view and more often agree with them and we would give in and accept the fact, that there IS ANOTHER SIDE.
I think that what l state above, is all l need to write about this fact.
Be happy, Shanti.
